This free Christmas wish list printable has three pages. There is a draw-and-write wish list for little kids, a classic 10-item Christmas list and a family gift list for the grown-ups. Print it on US Letter paper, no email needed.
What’s in the Christmas wish list printable
- My Christmas Wish List (ages 3 to 7): three big boxes to draw each wish. Kids write beside each box, or a grown-up writes for them.
- Christmas Wish List: a “Dear Santa” list with ten numbered lines and checkboxes. It also has a line for something your child would like to give.
- Family Christmas Gift List: a printable Christmas list for parents. Columns cover each person, the gift idea, budget, bought and wrapped.
Tips for using a printable Christmas list with kids
Little kids who can’t write yet can draw their wishes. They can also cut pictures from toy catalogs and glue them in the boxes. Then ask them to circle their number one wish, so you know what matters most.
The “something I’d like to give someone else” line starts an easy conversation about giving, not just getting. Pair it with a homemade gift and a tag from our printable Christmas gift tags.
When to fill in the wish list
Early December gives kids time to think and gives you time to shop. Many families write the list together after decorating the tree. After that, post it on the fridge so kids can add one more wish before it goes to Santa.
Keep the family Christmas gift list in one place
Use the family gift list to plan stockings, teacher gifts and presents for relatives. Then tick off bought and wrapped as you go. Need ideas? See our gift guides for 1 year olds, 2 year olds and 3 year olds.
Free for personal and classroom use. A letter to Santa page is also in our Christmas activity pages.
