How to read the toddler age chart
Most people call a child a toddler from about 12 months to 3 years old, which is when walking and early talking take off. The chart shows each stage in months and years, so it’s easy to answer questions like how old is 18 months. Page 2 lists milestone checkpoints, worded from the CDC milestone checklists.
Every child grows at their own pace, so use the toddler age chart as a general guide. If you notice your child missing several milestones, or losing skills they had, talk to your child’s doctor.
