These free printable Christmas gift tags give you 48 To/From tags on four pages: red and green tags, color-your-own tags for kids, and “Made by me” tags. Print them on cardstock, cut and tie them on with ribbon.
What’s in the printable Christmas gift tags
- Pages 1 and 2: 24 red and green Christmas gift tags with Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Ho Ho Ho! and Season’s Greetings, each with a small Christmas picture.
- Page 3: 12 color-your-own Christmas tags. Kids color the tree, snowman, candy cane or bell before they’re cut out.
- Page 4: 12 “Made by me!” and “Don’t open till Dec 25” tags for gifts kids make or wrap themselves.
How to print and use the Christmas tags
Print at 100% on white cardstock (65 lb or heavier holds up best). Cut along the dashed lines and punch the small circle for ribbon or twine. Each tag has a To: line and a From: line, so they work for every gift under the tree.
The color-your-own page is a good job for kids while the grown-ups wrap. Give them crayons or markers, then help with the scissors. Younger kids can sign their name on the From: line, even if it’s just a scribble.
Tips for neat Christmas gift tags
Write names before cutting, so small slips of the pen don’t ruin a finished tag. A paper punch makes cleaner holes than scissors. For a sturdier tag, glue the printed tag onto a slightly bigger piece of colored cardstock and trim a thin border around it.
