Start with the color poster and talk through each stage: seed, sprout, vine, flower, green pumpkin and orange pumpkin. Then let children put the six sequencing cards in order on their own. If you can, cut open a real pumpkin and use the investigation sheet to measure it, test if it floats and guess the number of seeds.
