Tips for using the Christmas ornament templates
For dough ornaments, roll the dough about a quarter inch thick, lay a cut-out shape on top, and trace around it with a butter knife. Poke the hanging hole with a straw before drying. Baking soda clay dries white and smooth, which makes it great for painting.
Salt dough and cinnamon ornaments are for decoration only, not for eating. Grown-ups should handle the oven and the raw dough mixing. The Christmas ornament templates also work for felt and paper ornaments, which are quicker for very young kids. Add a Made by tag to each one for a keepsake.
