This printable chore chart pack gives kids clear daily jobs and gives parents a calmer way to share the housework.
The Real-Life Chore Chart Pack is an 8-page fillable PDF built for ordinary weeks rather than picture-perfect ones. Type into it on a phone or laptop, or print it and write by hand.
Inside: My Week, a weekly chart with daily checkboxes; My Pick-3 Day, a shorter page that asks for one small job in each part of the day; Picture Chore Cards to cut out, tape on, or use as a choice board; Age-by-Age Starter Ideas, framed as household ideas rather than developmental expectations; and Our Family Team Board, where everyone gets a row including the grown-ups.
Two more pages earn their place: Roll, Pick, Do turns six quick jobs into a die roll for the afternoons nobody wants a chart, and Mom’s 5-Minute Weekly Reset is for keeping what worked and crossing out what did not. No guilt meeting required.
US Letter, no email required.
Tips for using a printable chore chart
Start with two or three small jobs per child, and add more only once those are a habit. Toddlers can put toys in a bin and carry their plate to the counter. Older kids can feed a pet, set the table or sort laundry by color. Show each job once, then let them do it their way.
Use the Pick-3 Day page on busy days, and the Roll, Pick, Do game when nobody wants a chart at all. Put the family team board where everyone sees it, with the grown-ups on it too. A printable chore chart works best when kids see the whole family helping.
