The Handprint Turkey Templates are a free 4-page PDF with three Thanksgiving crafts for children aged about 1 to 6.
Page one explains each craft and which jobs to keep for grown-ups. Page two is a handprint keepsake page: press a painted hand in the box, then fill in the name, age and year under a short poem. Page three is a thankful turkey with eight big feathers to color and fill with things your child is thankful for (pre-writers can draw instead). Page four holds paper plate turkey pieces: a head, two feet and six feathers to color, cut out and glue onto a paper plate.
Print the handprint page on cardstock so the paint doesn’t soak through. For children under 3, draw the eyes on rather than using googly eyes, which are a choking hazard. US Letter, no email required.
